EXHIBIT 213JH
"RYAN-HALLETT CROSSBOARD PHOTO ; 1950"
EXHIBITED IS A FILE PHOTO SHOWING WILLIAM RYAN IN A CROSSBOARD SETTING WITH RICHARD HALLETT.
THE PHOTO WAS TAKEN DURING THE 1950 AMERICAN 3-MOVE NATIONAL TOURNAMENT IN PAXTON, IL. THIS TOURNAMENT WAS CONSIDERED IN ITS DAY (AND STILL IS IN THE MINDS OF MANY) AS THE GREATEST OF ALL AMERICAN NATIONAL TOURNAMENTS, IN REGARDS TO THE STRENGTH OF THE PLAYERS, THE PROMOTION, AND THE PRIZES.
THE TOURNAMENT ITSELF WAS WON BY MAURICE CHAMBLEE, WHO WOULD GO ON TO CHALLENGE WALTER HELLMAN FOR THE 3-MOVE WORLD CHAMPIONSHIP.
THE PHOTO ABOVE OFFERS A RARE IMAGE OF A VERY YOUNG RICHARD HALLETT. SHORTLY AFTER THIS TOURNAMENT, HALLET WOULD DISAPPEAR FROM THE GAME. IN 1978, AMIDST RUMORS OF HIS PASSING, HALLETT WOULD RE-EMERGE, WINNING THE FLORIDA OPEN TOURNAMENT. HALLETT WOULD GO ON TO BECOME ONE OF AMERICA'S GREATEST CROSSBOARD PLAYERS, WINNING THE AMERICAN CHAMPIONSHIPS IN FREESTYLE AND 3-MOVE, AND WINNING THE 11-MAN BALLOT WORLD CHAMPIONSHIP.
THE PHOTO WAS PURCHASED ON EBAY BY JAY HINNERSHITZ.

"HELLMAN-LONG PRESS PHOTO 1949"
SHOWN HERE IS THE ORIGINAL PRESS PHOTO TAKEN DURING THE FIRST HALF OF THE WALTER HELLMAN VS. ASA LONG 3-MOVE WORLD CHAMPIONSHIP MATCH HELD IN DETROIT, MICHIGAN. THE SECOND HALF OF THE MATCH WOULD BE HELD IN CEDAR POINT, OHIO.
THIS MATCH WOULD BE THE INITIAL PHASE IN STEPS MADE BY AMERICAN PROMOTERS TO BRING TO A CERTAIN CLOSE THE QUESTION OF WHO WAS THE WORLD 3-MOVE CHAMPION. THE AMERICAN "BIG 3" WERE ASA LONG, WHO HELD THE TITLE, WALTER HELLMAN, WHO WON BOTH AMERICAN NATIONAL TOURNAMENTS IN 1946, AND WILLIAM RYAN. AFTER YEARS OF NEGOTIATING (WITH MUCH DELAY BEING BLAMED ON WORLD WAR II)THESE THREE AGREED TO A "PLAY-OFF", WITH LONG AND HELLMAN PLAYING FIRST, AND THE WINNER AGREEING TO A MATCH WITH RYAN.
HELLMAN WOULD WIN THIS MATCH WITH LONG BY THE SCORE OF 2-1-47 DRAWS, AND GO ON TO RETAIN THE TITLE BY DRAWING HIS MATCH WITH RYAN THE FOLLOWING YEAR.
HELLMAN AND LONG WOULD CONTEST ANOTHER 3-MOVE WORLD CHAMPIONSHIP MATCH IN FEBRUARY 1962, WHERE THE FINAL SCORE WAS 2-2-36 DRAWS, DEMONSTRATING THE INTENSITY OF THE GAMES BETWEEN THESE TWO IN MATCH PLAY, WITH ONLY SEVEN WINS BEING SCORED IN 90 GAMES PLAYED.
THE PHOTO ITSELF, WHICH MEASURES 10 INCHES BY EIGHT INCHES, IS REPRODUCED HERE UNALTERED. IT IS ONE OF THE MOST FAMOUS PHOTOS IN THE HISTORY OF THE GAME, HAVING BEEN REPRODUCED IN THE GAME'S LITERATURE MANY TIMES, INCLUDING "WORLD CHAMPIONSHIP CHECKERS", THE BOOK CONTAINING THE GAMES OF THE MATCH, WHERE IT IS ERRONEOUSLY PUBLISHED AS BEING "AT CEDAR POINT".
THE ORIGINAL COPY, SHOWN ABOVE, WAS SOLD
ON EBAY BY A DEALER WHO HAS ACQUIRED THE PHOTO ARCHIVES OF MANY NEWSPAPERS ACROSS AMERICA.

MANY WOULD AGREE TO THESE TERMS, AND AS A RESULT, MR. VORE BECAME ONE OF THE MOST POPULAR MAIL PLAYERS, AS MANY ENJOYED PLAYING UNDER THESE CONDITIONS.
