Below is a collection of Checkers sets that are from the private collection of Mr. Jim Metzger.
From Jim....
"The short version of my story is I've been picking up checker pieces for over forty years.  Have looked through OMOCH a few times I decided to send a few photos.
My collection does not contain many tournament worthy checkers, but the every mans checkers.  So I thought I'd start with the every man checkers of the every man checkers, the Halsams."
Pic 1:  The top right and center are 'Empire State Building' checkers, the rest are Comets.  I display this as much for the boxes as the checkers.
Pic 2:  A few canister sets.
Pic 3:  One of my favorite sets, the Airplanes.
Pic 4:  Also a favorite set, the Perfection Dragons.  I've included a few pieces from another Dragon set."
